This returning customers requirements were suited for the Gnet G-on2 2k Cloud dash cam to his brand new Audi Etron 5 EV. providing excellent quad HD recording, fast wifi app access, cloud recording and great parking mode recording with the camera automatically recording the state of the Etron's internal 12volt battery.
All wires are totally hidden and run alongside existing vehicle wiring looms, we aim for the best aesthetically pleasing look that almost looks like a factory install.
We like to fit dashcams so that the user doesn't know they are there yet they can be accessed instantly using the smartphone phone app if required.
The Audi Etron 5 has its own battery management system that automatically recharges the 12 volt auxiliary battery from the main lithium pack whilst parked. This allows you to set the battery cut off voltage easily within the app (as a fail safe) and this results in the cameras being able to be powered and benefit from parking mode recording whilst the Etron is parked up.
Parking mode is alerted to pedestrians that walk near the car with a swooping LED light that jumps into action and starts flashing when movement is detected.
The state of the 12volt battery is automatically recorded on the GNET video for you to see the state of charge.
