If your dashcam has parking mode, this hardwire kit will enable the parking mode options.
 
It monitors your vehicle battery and cuts power to the camera when the battery reaches the set low-voltage level.

The hardwire kit will switch the dashcam off at 11.8V and is ideal for daily driving use and low-battery protection. Your dashcam may also have parking mode settings within its own menu, but this will vary depending on the manufacturer.
 
Please note: the standard kit comes with 2 x pre-wired fuse taps with mini fuses. These can be plugged into spare fuse slots, or used to replace a suitable existing 10A fuse in your vehicle. It is important to check the correct orientation of the fuse tap when installing; please see the photo showing this.
If your vehicle uses a different fuse type, please select the separate fuse taps required. You will then receive 2 fuse taps of your choice.
Please note: the pre-wired mini fuse taps will need to be cut off and the separate fuse taps fitted instead. This requires the wires to be cut, stripped and crimped securely using a suitable crimping tool, or a good-quality pair of pliers if you are confident doing this. the connectors should then be taped up with electricians tape for extra protection.
Please only select this option if you are comfortable and able to carry out this type of connection, or if the kit is being fitted by someone with the correct tools and experience.
 
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Yellow wire - connect to a permanent 12/24V feed
Red wire - connect to a switched/accessory 12/24V feed
Black wire - connect to ground
