Genuine 3M VHB Dashcam Adhesive Pads – Universal Replacement Kit
 
A selection of genuine 3M double-sided adhesive pads that can be trimmed to fit almost any dashcam windscreen mount.
Also includes alcohol cleaning wipes to ensure the glass and mounting bracket are properly prepared before installation.
 
Dashcam keeps falling off?
In almost every case, this is caused by poor surface preparation rather than the adhesive itself.
Follow these steps for the best possible bond:
 
Remove all traces of the old adhesive from both the windscreen and the dashcam mount.
Clean both surfaces thoroughly using the supplied alcohol wipes to remove grease, silicone, fingerprints and dirt.
Allow the surfaces to dry completely.
Choose the most suitable 3M adhesive pad and trim to size if required.
Apply the pad to the dashcam mount first, pressing firmly over the entire surface for 30-60 seconds.
Remove the backing film and firmly press the mount onto the windscreen for at least 30 seconds.
For the strongest bond, allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before attaching the dashcam or driving the vehicle.
 
Tip: Apply the adhesive at room temperature (ideally 15-30°C). Cold glass or damp conditions can significantly reduce the initial bond.
