The original Nextbase mount wasn't great for ceiling mounting so we engineered this new design to cope with ceiling mounting (and also rear glass mounting if you just require the base magnetic mount). Great for majority of hatchbacks / saloons but not designed for rear glass that is vertical (contact us if unsure).

Installing your own dashcam? Use our custom mount to avoid the tough tailgate install, that is particularly harder on Jaguar, Range Rover and Landrover vehicles along with Ford, Hyundai, VW, BMW, Porsche, MG EV, Kia, Volvo etc.
Difficult to remove grommets that are easily broken if you dont know how to remove Volkswagen Audi Group ( VAG that also include Bentley, Cupra, Jetta, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, and Škoda) some also have bonded rear glass so there isnt a neat route to run a cable and hide it.
Simply slot onto your trim headliner and then route your cables along the trim and securing your magnetic Nextbase camera to this mount.
Installing a rear dashcam on Jaguar/Landrover vehicles with tailgates requires you to remove 2 trim sections and 4 bolts to then gain access to the rubber grommet channel under the spoiler, often adding on around 45 minutes to the install. As mentioned above on VW, Audi and Seat vehicles there is a special way to remove the grommet and 9 times out of 10 people end up breaking this if they dont know how to remove it correctly and the result is water in your boot when it rains!
This can also be daunting if youre not familiar on how to remove the tailgate and route the cable accordingly.

If you require the DC headliner mount bracket version, you must make sure that your vehicle headliner trim is flexible, you can check this by following the install photos on this page. As long as you can pull down the headliner trim slightly, the bracket will work great. All you need to do is measure the depth of your headliner trim and compare it to the photos, contact us with a measurement photo if you are unsure.
Please check the measurements that will be specific to your vehicle (some sizes and vehicles below based on customer feedback, please still check your own as there may still be variances in the different models and their respective years).

Ordered the Nextbase-DC04 for my 2016 Mini Clubman. Fits perfectly on the roof lining. Cable is ran along the left side of the car at the roof line and fitted the ferrite cores (also from Dash Cams) saving me having to try and fit through the rear door loom (seen some horror shows on social media). Very easy to install the mount, strong magnet and mounts the NextBase rear camera perfectly. Nice little cable control mechanism on the side of the mount too.
I’ve just installed a Nextbase DC03 mount in my 2021 Ford Kuga ST Line and it fits perfectly. The mount is very easy to install (took a couple of minutes) and saves having to feed the dashcam cable through the rubber gaiter, which can be very difficult on this car due to the shape of the part and can also result in damage to the existing wires. I received the mount within 2 days of placing the order - great product and service. Highly recommended.

Ordered a DC03 Nextbase mount for a Mk 1 Audi A1. Fits fine and saved me having to pull the trim off the tailgate, which from experience with other VW-group cars doesn't always go smoothly.
Good idea that works well but bit expensive
I am always wary when buying online, especially when not from a well known reputable company. I was also unsure if the item they were selling would be a quality product and do what I needed it to do. All my fears were in vain as the product was delivered quickly, of high quality and did exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend!
