We installed a FineVu GX1000 2K+2K front & rear dashcam to this Volvo XC90. Quad HD recording both front & rear, wifi app access, and the most energy efficient parking mode recording that we have seen to date in a dashcam meaning excellent parking mode recording and management.
All wires are totally hidden and run alongside existing vehicle wiring looms, we aim for the best aesthetically pleasing look that almost looks like a factory install.
We like to fit dashcams so that the driver doesn't notice they are there yet can be accessed instantly using the smartphone phone app if required.

The Finevu dashcam is connected into the fusebox and easily removed. The dashcam parking mode can easily be changed according to your requirements within the app. This allows the cameras to be powered whilst parked and benefit from parking mode recording. All fully automatic.
Parking mode is alerted to pedestrians that walk near the car with a glowing LED light that jumps into action and starts flashing when movement is detected.
