The Subaru Solterra has its own battery management system that automatically recharges the 12 volt auxiliary battery from the main drive battery pack whilst parked. This allows you to set dashcam parking mode easily within the app (as a fail safe) and this results in the cameras being able to be powered and benefit from parking mode recording whilst the Subaru Solterra is parked up. Giving 24/7 recording around the vehicle.
Parking mode is alerted to pedestrians that walk near the car with a glowing LED light that jumps into action and starts flashing when movement is detected.
