This simple yet effective device allows anyone wanting to fit a front and rear dashcam to their hatchback vehicle with extreme ease. When installing the rear dashcam in a hatchback vehicle, knowledge and time is required to enable routing of the rear camera cable. In a hatchback vehicle to avoid any unsightly wires, you would normally need to route the cable through the rubber grommet that feeds other wires through into the tailgate. This would involve removing vehicle trim on the tailgate then removing the rubber grommet itself that attaches to the vehicle to the tailgate. Special tools are often needed so as to not break the grommet fixings (Volkswagen, Audi Group) and also in Range Rover, Land Rover and Jaguar SUV's the rear spoiler needs removing to channel the cable through and this alone can take around 50+ minutes.
