The Goluk cameras have an abundance of features that make it the top request from Tesla owners but some of the important ones are that the camera's are low voltage and low consumption. This allows the camera wiring to run alongside existing looms within your car, for instance along the thin conduit in the Tesla Model X windshield and not interfere with the other cabling. The Tesla Model Has sensitive power and data cables that run through this conduit channel to control information from the Autopilot Camera's on the windshield and other Dashcams either have a 12 volt cable and a rear camera video feed running alongside this and/or even tap into the power feed from the Autopilot housing itself. We take a totally separate unused feed and use additional safe supplies to take the voltage down to 5 volts. We also add a switch to allow the Tesla Service Centre's to safely power down the camera's when in for service. Other Dashcam suppliers may tap into power from the Tesla in such a way that the only solution to power the camera's down is to pull the lead out from the camera itself. Goluk T1 installed into a Range Rover Vogue SE with the additional battery monitor to ensure that the Range Rover's battery maintained plenty of power whilst it protected the vehicle's surrounding utilising the Parking Motion functionality. The Goluk T1 comes with a fully wireless remote button to capture 12 second clips and store them into another part of the micro SD memory card. The T1 like the T3 sections out the SD Memory automatically so you don't have to worry about the card filling up or how the video files are stored. Rest assured when you need to access the files, you can do so by connecting your tablet or smart phone to the Goluk's wifi hotspot and retrieve or share them using the Goluk app. You can also remove the micro SD card and this can be read directly on an Apple Mac or Windows pc using a micro SD adaptor. On the included 16gb memory card, there are 3 separate folders, one stores the continual loop recording whilst driving and this overwrites itself after a certain period. Mounted and secured using an M3 hex bolt on the existing cowl behind the rear mirror without any modification to the original trim resulted in a great OEM look. The T1 records in a continuous loop and the memory card sections space automatically so you never miss any important footage. The "Wonderfull mode" remote push button was adhered to the headliner trim to enable instant separate 12 second clips that can be shared to social media at the push of a button. A Tornado Vehicle battery monitor system was installed so that the Goluk front and rear cameras can record motion and any vehicle impact whilst parked up as long as there is sufficient power in the vehicle's 12 volt battery.
