The Goluk T1 comes with a fully wireless remote button to capture 12 second clips and store them into another part of the micro SD memory card. If a criminal or thief attempts to steal your vehicle, with or without a cloned key or even your own key, it simply will not start and is totally immobilised. This new Jaguar i-pace owner took advantage of our local install service at their home only 2 days after taking ownership. A dual channel Front and Rear Blackvue 750x was chosen giving excellent recording quality, fast wifi app access and parking mode settings. No need for a separate power-magic parking monitor (to protect the I-Pace's 12 volt auxiliary battery) as it is all built into the Blackvue dashcam software and easily configurable with the Blackvue app. As in other JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) vehicles, the rear glass is bonded in such a way this may restrict installers from mounting the rear camera in an optimum position. We have seen other installations (still) have the rear camera mounted to the roof trim however this gives you a very restricted "portal" view. We allow extra time with JLR vehicles as we need to carefully remove extra parts like the rear spoiler to allow access to the existing I-Pace wiring looms so that we may run the dash cam cable alongside. Nice, neat and hidden. The Blackvue 750x camera is able to record either a time-lapse video or motion/impact detection whilst parked. In vehicles that have petrol and diesel engines this is normally done by a device called the alternator.
